  1. Hello LASER WOLF , I have version VS99515A and i am stuck on the type "applypatch /system/bin/atd /storage/emulated/0/dirtysanta". Its giving an MTD<… prompt regarding file types. Thank you.

  2. I type in "applypatch /system/bin/atd /storage/emulated/0/dirtysanta" into Terminal Emulator and nothing happens. Anybody know why?

  3. +LASER WOLF, mine is actually working quite well with all of the Verizon and amazon apps debloated. In order to gain root, you have to use the tool LGUP with the correct kdz file which should be 12A to go back to the September/November 2016 security patch and then use this root method by +LASER WOLF. Everything is good so far.

  4. you are my fucking hero. I tried for over 10 hours following the instructions on xda but this was so much simpler and easier. i got an error when trying to flash the kernel and it failed but whatever, i can live with the static screen on boot up

  5. hey im stuck at

    type
    applypatch /system/bin/atd /storage/emulated/0/dirtysanta

there are message shown on my phone after pressing enter. it saids
Filenames may be of the form
    MTD:<………………..something like that

    How could i fix this?

  6. For some reason, mine isn't booting into fastboot mode nor is it getting passed the applypatch part. It seems as if the path/image is incorrect. Not sure why though.

  7. Thank you very much for this video. I tried over 15 times with no success until watching your video!
Some of your links dont work but I already had all the files except the new kernel which wasn't hard to find.

    Thanks again!
